Pre-MUSH History[]
Husband to Fran Leonetti. Tony “Wah Chong” Leonetti was with Donovan in El Salvador covering a guerilla war as his sound man, when the aliens first arrived. Tony and Donovan quickly got back to LA with their footage and soon enough, they became higher ups in covering the story with Kristine Walsh. He continued to cover the Visitors with Donovan although he became more and more suspicious especially after the scientist conspiracy theories came out. It was Tony that first noticed a discrepancy in the individuals who were either accusing people of or admitting involvement with the conspiracy.
In particular he noted that Duvivier signed his letter of confession with his left hand. He noted the same with Jankowski. Pulling previous tape he noted that they were both right handed. He wasn’t sure what it meant, but he knew something fishy was going on. He agreed to go to the mothership with Donovan, but tripped over a pipe and didn’t make it into the squad vehicle.
Upon Donovan’s return, Tony got the tape ready for a news break in when the Visitors marshalled the airwaves. Pretty soon after the Visitors attacked the studio. Tony flipped Donovan the tape and pushed over a sound machine to cover his getaway.
Tony then waited for Donovan to call and when he did, he talked in code because the aliens had tapped their phones. Tony agreed to meet Donovan and brought his wife who was to take Josh Brooks, a lone kid survivor from a raid on San Pedro where the aliens took the whole town in.
Tony and Donovan went to sneak aboard the mothership again, but this time they are caught. Tony is killed by Diana who authorized medical experiments on him.
